Join the PMPA Canada Chapter for dinner and a presentation on Forwardskilling. Don’t miss this opportunity to learn, share, and grow with industry peers.

The event will feature a special presentation by Thomas Deslongchamps, Director of Training and Continuous Improvement from Pindel Global Precision, on the benefits of fowardskilling – a collaborative training model designed to close the skills gap in manufacturing by giving companies a smarter, faster way to build workforce capability.

At its core, Forwardskilling is about leveraging underutilized resources—manufacturers come together to jointly access high-quality training assets that no single company could efficiently provide on its own. This shared-economy approach (think: Uber or Airbnb for upskilling) makes advanced skills development accessible, practical, and scalable across the industry.

Rather than relying on traditional, one-size-fits-all education, Forwardskilling is built around what manufacturers actually need: focused, hands-on learning that directly improves shop floor performance. It’s a flexible model that strengthens the entire regional manufacturing ecosystem by creating a more skilled, more agile workforce.
