Join us for a Western Michigan Chapter special presentation by GWS Tool Group and the H. B. Carbide Company entitled “From Mine to Machine, the Evolution of Carbide Cutting Tools” at GWS Tool Group, where we will look at the process of pressing and extruding carbide blanks, and finally sintering the blanks into final form.

Following the presentation, we will then follow the manufacturing process for producing the finish cutters as we are lead through an in-depth plant tour of GWS Tool Group’s Grand Rapids facility. All attendees will meet for a networking lunch at Uccello’s Ristorante prior to the presentation at GWS Tool.
