Speaker Information:
Miles Free, III serves as the Director of Industry Affairs for the Precision Machined Products Association and has over 50 years of experience in manufacturing, quality, and steelmaking. Before joining PMPA in 2003, Miles was Director of Quality and Development at Republic Engineered Products. He has authored hundreds of articles for the manufacturing industry and has over a million views on his blog, PMPASpeakingofPrecision.com.
David Wynn, MBA, is an experienced Chief Financial Officer with a demonstrated history of working in the precision machined parts industry in every position from the floor to the C-suite. He is skilled in sales, strategic planning, management leadership, and project management. Being part of a small family shop David experienced lots of time on the shop floor. David took a small family shop from Brown & Sharpe into the modern age of Swiss CNC, and brought along his experience on mechanical equipment adapting old ways to new machines. David also has experience in IT, having spent time in web development and database software design. He later took that into the shop programming Arduino to do basic tasks and designing a shop control system by integrating home control technology into his family’s shop environment.
