YOUR VOICE IN D.C.
PMPA is the voice of the precision machined products industry. The association not only represents your interests in Washington, D.C., we also closely monitor both legislative and regulatory issues that may directly impact your business.
PMPA PAC
The PMPA Political Action Committee (PAC) is a tool utilized by the association to demonstrate the industry’s support of Congressional candidates, both incumbents and challengers, who are consistently strong advocates of small business and the precision machined products industry. Annually, the PMPA PAC provides contributions to various candidates in the primary and general election cycles.
Donations to the PMPA PAC must be in the form of a personal contribution via check; corporate checks are not accepted. Donors must complete the PAC authorization form and PAC contribution form when making a contribution to the PMPA Political Action Committee.
CAPITOL HILL CONNECTION
The PMPA membership is well represented on Capitol Hill by The Franklin Partnership, a D.C. based government relations firm. The Franklin Partnership remains in constant contact with policy makers in Washington, to educate members of Congress, the Administration, and their staff on issues of critical importance to the precision machined products industry.
Working in conjunction with PMPA staff, The Franklin Partnership also arranges periodic meetings during the year, enabling PMPA members to meet with their Congressional representatives in Washington, D.C., as well as at their manufacturing facilities. As the PMPA “Capitol Hill Connection” The Franklin Partnership also presents legislative and regulatory updates at the association’s chapter meetings and national conferences. The information presented at these meetings provides an important briefing for PMPA members.
